EDIT: It was almost as if she had a second skin - they weren’t scales, but a network of granular textures that had been graded. Each row of stitches lay just a bit further than the last one - a series of almost imperceptible increases that cumulated into flared bottoms. Her pants were interesting to say the least, with a silhouette that called out to the past but craftsmanship that was clearly ahead of its time. Timeless, perhaps was the apt word. The pants seemed to be grown onto her body, in an unusual and unique texture that took on its own form and structure, contrasting the plain and the textured at the same time. Yes, definitely, futuristic yet retro. After all, aren't the clues for what the future will be, always in the past?
