Description
One eyebrow was slightly raised as she stared me dead in the eye. Her jacket and it's colour were unlike one I'd seen before, the frills held up like wings, it seemed to be of cotton quilt that was gilded with gold thread.
""Zari"" she confirmed ""its gold wire"", this traced the shape of hexagons infinitely, a sacred endless geometry. I followed her index finger as she stroked the thread towards the placket and fabric-covered buttons.
